tuning edges

i just got an edge tuning tool, but i dont know what to set the bevel at for my skis. i hae 01 skogens, can anyone help?

90 degree side is good for all around, i believe salomon edges are 89 degree from the factory. unless you have a reason to, i wouldn't alter the factory setting. remember to detune your tips and tails too.

 
you can also dull the edges right under the binding to prevent any snags on rails, but it also makes the skis suck at holding a carve.

89, it will make it so you don't catch an edge as easily

ive always done mine at 90, maybe ill try 89

I just got back from a swix tuning demo and they said if your doing park and newschool stuff stay just use a 90, because its the most durable. But if you are into racing or carving and shit you can drop down to 87-89, but they'll have to be sharpened more often.

honestly, dont tune your skiis for jibbing. basically the more beveled the edge, the sharper but less durable it is.(thats why you have to sharpen more)

 
when i go to vermont i dont ski the park all the time, thats why im asking.
