I just got a pair of line cronics and i'm mostly gunna use them in the half pipe any tips on how i should tune them? should the edges be sharp from tip to tail and what angle should they be filed?

if you are a good skier it doesnt matter how the hell you tune your skis. i can do ally oop 5's in 183 sugar daddys with NO EDGES

i would imagine you'd want some edge to pull a hard turn across the pipe, but not too much edge so you don't have to worry about catching your edge on the wall

I think in the december freeskier they did a little thing on it, but im too lazy right now to look it up

Whoever said they can do alley oop 5's with sugar daddys and no edges is a gaylord. May you die a thousand deaths at the beaks of seagull's...

And yes tune the piss out of them. Right wax and perfectly tuned. It's all a preference on detuning...so try whatever you like. I personally prefer about a 2 inch detune around tip and tale. Always hit it up with a gum stone to remove the burrs.

If you can swing it, have a pipe ski that never ever touches rails, keep it nice and tuned like a race ski, it's a world of difference
