Tucks

I should be spending quite a bit of time over on the prezis this spring, if anyone is looking for a partner for some adventures give me a holler.

I was up a week ago, it was great. Oddly no wind and the usual super hard pack... A little wind blown per usual. Went up and down right gully.

Although, my brother went this past weekend and there was SIX skier triggered slides.. He stuck up by hillmans needless to say.

Keep updated on the conditions on their website and you'll be set! Should be a great spring!

I really wanna go this year but I heard about the 6 or so avalanches the other day and will probably go once it really heats up

Just saw a report on wmur and Washington has gotten 2 feet in the last 5 days or so. They showed some pictures of the snow depth and it was really impressive. My guess it will be good up there til late may early June.

The piss poor weather yesterday served one good reason, it helped immensely with stabilizing the snowpack. Granted that last night was well below freezing up in the higher elevations, everything will be bulletproof for the remainder of the day and into the morning tomorrow. Tomorrow should be sunny and warm so that means solar gains and spring corn.

Folks...anyone looking for a road trip/hiking partner. Trying to get up there for tuesday or thursday next week...so yeah lets shred

I gave someone the call out on Saturday and it was successful, probably the first time it ever worked. I was sporting a neon green sled and ripping the fuck out of everything

Today was fun. Skied lobster claw. Plenty of snow with low avi danger on left and right side of the bowl. I hear sat. is gonna be gorgeous.

Im headed up tomorrow, any of you going also?

Headed up last Wednesday and it was sweet. Can only imagine this weekend is going to be some epic spring skiing up there, enjoy it! If someone ends up taking a trip can you give us a report on little headwall/the sherby. On Wednesday little headwall was plenty skiable just had to dodge a couple big ass undermined holes. The Sherburne was open half way but even the open half was completely bare in some spots.

Little headwall was close to being impassable, by the end of the weekend it will probably be gone. Sherbie was a mess, also by the end of a busy warm weekend will be just about gonzo. Crowds are supposed to break 2000 today.

On a related note, the bowl is wildly filled in right now. Even more than it was when I went up April 16th. I think last night was the first in 14 days that they did not receive any new snow. There are about 8 lines through the ice fall that you dont have to air, the waterfall is not even open yet.

I skied lookers left variation of Lobster Claw and Left Gully, I was the first one down the skiers left shoulder in LG and let a massive wet loose down. It was about 8-10 feet wide, 6 inches deep and ran all the way to the shrubs at the bottom. It was like a river of molasses flowing down the mountain.

Anyone one know if there is still enough snow to ski. Saw on ski the east's Instagram that they went last weekend.

I hiked Mt. Washington yesterday, temps are cool so snow isn't melting as fast as it was. The bowl had enough snow to ski from the bottom of the chutes into the bowl, looked like people were getting in some good turns on both sides of the bowl. There was also other snow patches at the other ravine that people were skiing and it didn't look bad. Snow is a soft slush and dirty but definitely skiable. There were plenty of people skiing there yesterday.
