when does tuckerman's open? i am planning to hike it this year but i don't know when to go.

its always open, it just depends on whether you want to die or not. i dont think they got much snow this year, so i am going early april.

i can't imagine the conditions are gonna be great this year, you'd probably have to hit it up in april. but we're supposed to get some snow this week so it may improve.

Line Day at Tuckerman's is April 20th. We will be teaming up to build a kicker at the bottom where it mellows out. Look for the East Coast Alliance team comacking.

 
Yeah good idea build a 2 foot kicker at the bottom of a mini glacier. Or you could actually go skiing instead of wasting your time dicking around on some piece of shit jump to flat landing

all you fags planing on building a jump dont know what tucks is. you dont hike 2.5 miles to build a lame ass kicker at some of the northeasts finest bc skiing. you guys will be the biggest joeys on the hill. you can build lame ass kickers at any ski area in the east without the 2.5 mile hike

i'm heading up in ealry may, its good from now until like mid mayish. I would recomend going up earlier than later because all of the tools go up later in the season.

 
im going around may 16th 17th??? i guess im a tool cause i go to college and live in philly, and dont have time until i get out of classes... some friends are ocming down from canada and NY to ride with me... tuckermans is on a whole nother level.. for those of you who havent been there you cant talk until you do it... kicker at the bottom... hahaha

 
Line day on 4/20 at Tucks is cancelled. I'm going to Regae weekend at the Loaf instead. Come find us at the Line tent if you're going up. CVA kids can demo some of next year's skis. they just had a big avalanche i think, so the skiing might not be great but im still headed up in late april
