Tuckerman's Ravine is prime right now

did Tuck's all the way to the tippy top...prime conditions with plenty of corn pow...skied it in a beater too it was sooooo hott...also i could ski almost all the way to the car..
 
i was gonna go last weekend but decided not to, too many people on the weekend, i'll have to cut school and do it on like a wednesday

i got such a bad redneck burn too wit the beater...my shoulders and back of arms are soooo red.
 
ya my physics teacher goes there. hes freakin nuts but hes a mad good tele skiier and he showed us vids in class of him skiing it. such an awesome class and i wish i didnt live so far away or else i would be up there constantly
 
hahah kno one told me to stop building my jump so i didnt...i made it on too steep a pitch though...yah two of the guys in the vid are my teachers...science and english...pretty sik
 
I was just up yesterday, left gully was legit, headwall was wack though-had all these troughs all the way down carved out by slides. I'll be up again on Saturday though, should be good. Crowded, but good.
 
they would never allow it but I have always envisioned an east coast ski camp there, definitely enough space for a phat rail garden and some booters
 
Cotts? probably because cotts is the fucking man... Show him your ski movies or just talk about the good ol days with leather seats in cars and short shorts... he will get distracted for the whole class, i promise... but hes also one of the best teachers I've ever had
 
yah dood a camp would be mad legit...it was soooo sik yesterday...went all the way to the top on the right side...skied that part then traversed to left chute...mad fun...then i just built a lil booter by lunch rocks...prolly shoulda knocked it down so someone doesnt fly off it :P
 
dude TUX is amazing. a great experiece you have to do one day. make sure you are weel rested because the hike is quite tiring but worth it in my opinion
 
i got back yesterday, skied wed thurs and stayed over night in the shelters. on wed night it poured rain and the main bowl got all runneled, but the left gully and hillmans is still way sick. do it soon because the trail down is disapearing fast.
 
Yeah i skied Hillmans yesterday and it was real good. The top part of the trail down was real good but it petered out. Im pretty sure its closed now but you could still ski the first half no problem.
