Tuckermans in July?

Me and a bunch of friends are going to Tucks in late July..and he swears there will be a lot of snow. I've seen pictures of it during the summer months and it looks pretty bare. Has anyone gone that late? let me know thanks

I've gone early July on a good snow year and the cover was getting thin. So pretty much your friend is an idiot. You should go in May for the best conditons.

i would in a heartbeat..but i'm stuck in florida right now. i'll be home in a couple of weeks, but my friends aren't getting home til late july. i'll try and find someone else to go with so i can go earlier. thanks for the info

I'm looking at going sometime in May. NH got a lot of snow this year, however I doubt it will be skiable in late July.

itll be skiable till mid june maybe. ive seen pics where the only snow is in the bowl, but last yr, it was unskiable in the first week of may... i plan on going on the 7th or 8th

the snow was super shitty and icy.

nobody was hiking to the top of the bowl so we skied from under the headwall
