Tucker mountain

Yes they are planning on it. Also they are extending Sierra to the top of the peak. A gondola is going in over by Union Creek as well. Check out the forums on Copper site, it's a fairly recent topic.
 
i think im done with copper, there are enough gapers who ride the mountain chief and take the snowcat up, im so fucking sick of it. they would ruin tucker if they did that, completly fucking ruin it. no gapers can handle that hike, now it will be fucking ruined YIPPPEEE!
 
^word! that's gonna suck. I still hike the whole way cuz there's usually a line for the cat. hopefully they'll open some new hikeable terrain like Jaque's Peak.
 
Jaques Peak is in the near future. They are doing control work on it now. They may be leading people back there as early as late next season.
 
If you guys are seriously considering leaving copper, Winter Park is going to be even more rediculous next year than last year
 
id love to stick with the super pass, cept it doesnt cover the basin. i cant afford to keep buying 2 passes a year. whats going down at WP next year?
 
i skied tucker today and it was amazing, the snowcat driver drove us all the way so we didnt have to hike that much. There was also alot of powder and it was sweet

tucker is so sick, i skied the taco and one of those outer glades about a week ago, and ended up two feet in there, pretty sweet stuff i had never been to at copper
