Im a newer member here on newschoolers and i want to sell my frogskins. Being a new member i am pretty much screwed because of low karma and no feedback. Once i post them for sale ill prolly get a bunch of shit about that. Do any of you no a way to be a legit seller while being a new member.thanks allot

be very professional, if you've sold on other sites post links to feedback there (ebay etc) post detailed photos of the frogskins with your username and date written somewhere visible in the photo
mainly it's sketchy when the item has bad descriptions and no pictures and the person has like 1 post
also maybe buy a few things to get a little feedback going before you sell

dont worry, they will sell and if you try and fuck anyone over the people on this site who live close to you will come find you and threaten to kick your ass until you get your shit together. not saying your gonna scam b/c you seem very thoughtful/legit just by making this thread, just saying thats how shit goes round these parts

I'd like to think most people have faith in other members here. Personally, i'll always give someone a fair go. I won't deal with someone who posts a one line sale thread with no pics etc. But if the thread is well constructed with good info and good communication from the seller then there isn't any reason why not.

State that you'll ship with a tracking number etc and you should be fine.

Main thing is don't give potential buyers a reason to think you're shady.

Word.

My buddy the other day actually made a newer member ship the item before he paid for it, just because he had no feedback.

I personally like to have faith in the NS community. I use Paypal, and if/when I get screwed, I'll deal with it accordingly. You can usually tell who's a scammer and who's not though.

Just post lots of pictures, write coherently, and be fair. In the pictures, include a piece of paper with your NS username and the date - that way potential buyers know what they're looking at.

I agree with you, it is hard as a new member to gain that legitimate status. In addition to just buying/selling feedback, post around the forums and get known around the site. Making friends here is great if you want to fit in and gain a level of trust. If a member is seen a lot around the forums, such as myself or asian_allen, for examples, a buyer will be much less skeptical.

for the most part, ill trust a seller unless they have bad feedback, but as far as trades, unless im trading with someone such has fouldsys(first name on the online list haha) who i know for a fact to be very legit, i will wait for the other person's product to arive before shipping mine out
