Trying to find a camera

I think a good camera to get would be the Pentax KX. I have this camera and Its perfect. Between 500 and 700 dollars, loaded with features and alot of photography websites are pumped on the good quality of the camera for how cheap it is. The camera is also very samll compared to some of the other SLR's which makes easy to work with in bad conditions. Hope I helped.

The Mamiyas are pretty good and they are nice and portable. Not much is required to use them, but results are great. Plus, they are cheap!

^ i got to hold one Friday. ive never held $20,000 in my hand but it was pretty humbling

ive heard theyre amazing in low light. great camera for the price
my only concern is the ability to grow with it. maybe i dont know enough about pentax but canon or nikon seem to be able to offer a wider range of lense upgrades and gear to accompany the body
ive heard nothing but great things about the canon t2i. im still workin with the rebel xti and after probably 50,000 shutters im still going strong so that gives me confidence in the quality of canon entry level cameras
