Trump has threatened to suspend both houses of Congress unless the Senate starts to blindly push through his nominees, instead of properly vetting them as outlined in the Constitution. This is despite the fact that Trump's administration has had more vacancies and "acting" positions than any other administration in U.S. history since taking office.

This is in addition of Trump claiming unilateral power by forcing governors to "open" up their state's economies against the advice of every expert in the field of epidemiology while pushing false narratives like the U.S. has already peaked in cases of COVID-19. In essence, Trump claims states do not have any right to govern themselves.

It's official. If you support Trump you're either not paying attention or you want to destroy democracy. So Trump supporters, which is it?

I remember reading awhile back in some 1988 mag. that Trump would be the last president of the United States. Big if true.

No president has threatened to close both houses as both of our articles clearly say..

There is something called the presidential emergency action document that does give him power in times of crisis. It is very secret and nobody really knows what it entails. Also federal law trumps state law even if it isn’t honored in that state.

People need to get back to work as you can see from all the protests. You think you’re just going to sit back and collect stimulus checks every month? Our government is nothing without our economy. Regardless, nothing is being forced on you.

Would also like to point out that governors do in fact get control in how their states reopen. He explicitly said this in the press briefing where he explained his recommendations for reopening. Not sure why he said otherwise a few days ago but Im not surprised.

The sad thing is, no other candidate is gonna give him a run for his money. Biden has alzheimers and the DNC shot itself in the foot by making him the front runner instead of Bernie. The fact that it took Obama so long to back him makes it a little concerning. Trump will win 2020 in a landslide.

It's important to be as emotionally unstable as you can in politics, that way your party always wins.

We are global citizens now. China is a wonderful country with strong privacy laws and features a wonderful plethora of US multi-national corporations. We should learn from their approach and usher in the beautiful totalitarian utopia everyone has been dying to live in.
