who here plays trumpet on here? oh, nobody? amazing. well, im taking the shit up, so i can freestyle like a pro. i dont want to learn how to read music, i just want to learn all of the notes. yep.

 
Just learn how to play jazz and carribean/latino shit. Cuban Jazz is amazing. Dont waste your time with classical shit, JAzz!

yah, i played a trumpet back in good ol high school. i only played for a year, but the teacher was still impressed with the way i played.

i jsut sat around the kids that actually knew how to play, i couldnt play all that well though, so the teacher thought i was following all the right notes

I play trumpet, mellophone and french horn. Better at french horn though, and no, I'm not in band cause that class pissed me off. Somebody above me said it already, just play it for yourself and nobody else cause then it's just more fun.

i play sax in the school band. but ive also played with a couple ska/rock bands. playin shit like sublime, less than jake, goldfinger etc. there are some good tab site out there.

nah, it has this weird number system, i think 1 means notes below staff, 2 is staff octave, 3 is high. i dotn know anyone who can play 1 full octave over the staff... that would be fuckin insane.

yea the '+' is sharp '-' is flat. the numbers are octaves, but it doesnt really matter. sounds ok no matter what octave. it doesnt tell u if the notes are quarters, half, or what tho. u have to listen to the song then just match it up. i do that then write it on music sheets.
