At the other end of scale there is a civil war and in the other side (trump winning) chances of ww3 and the end of our society increases tremendeously. You know which is better for a someone whos country will be the battlefield. Both will be a disaster for the west.

They won't increase that's the fakest shit ever, he was president for 4 years and nothing happened. The worst thing he could do is to exclusively Americans (Project 2025). Maybe that starts a civil war and the ripple effects reach other countries but it wouldn't be a ww3

Yeah it will in a worst case scenario if bureaucracy can't stop or slow him down. As much as I want to say that Europe can survive on it's own, it won't. Him possibly being elected and it's geopolitical affects are only thing I see about him. Lot of the things he says he wants to do weakens defence in Europe. Our economies follow yours down but not up. If the domino coming from overseas can't be stopped soon enough Europe will be weak. Ukraine war will end when Russia wants it to end. Russia wants to poke around more. China becomes interested. Another meat grinder, Nordics go to Ural. blaa blaa.

Of course I hope you are right and he won't do nothing, but he is an unstable person.

It is a fact that chances increase and in a worst case scenario everyone is doomed.

It is not something you need to think constantly, but it is a risk that people need to be aware of.

I’m so sick of the “trump will end democracy” and “Biden is trying to destroy the country” takes, presidential candidates always try to make the election seem like an impending apocalypse to fire up voters but the reality is that very little changes in your day to day life based on who is in the Oval Office. Local and state election matter wayy more, but people basically ignore those

i would take the party affiliation with a grain of salt. as milkman said, its becoming very common in PA for a person with liberal beliefs to be registered as republican or vise versa. Stupid primary system.

I think his donation to Actblue says more than his registered political party. Rural republican households that have a liberal child are not rare nor are liberal gun owners.

Thinking that the assassination would make things worse and empathy aren't even related on this. Also if we're going to care about assassinating political figures, maybe we should care more about all the times we've done it in other countries.
