I would say the justification for the tails on the invaders is so you can mount them either way, which I suppose is a gimic as well especially since you can barely tell with the 05/06 graphics which way they are pointing cuz its all a big blob of stuff.
new fischers are going to be so dope if they are truely symetrical, and having a back tip is important for skiing switch pow, which I highly recomend by the way. and they make huge corn tails which is what they are really for.
I think the idea is that what people are realizing a "True Twintip" today is way more progressive and true than simply having equal tip/tail height.
Fischer is calling the addict a true twintip, Line called the Invader symmetrical and also true. "True" was first used by line to mean tip/tail height but now WE the NSers are evolving with the technology and I think true in the future will come to include shape symmetrical construction and height.
i mean where the front tip an dthe back tip are the same height and the skis are symmetrical....which skis can you mount one forwards and one backwards?
