True Tail & Water Ramps

So Im thinking of buying some old twins, but theyre not true twin tip. Do you guys think when hitting the water ramps switch, the tip can get caught?

I saw a bunch of kids go tips in switch at LP ramps, the material there would be fine even if the tip is small, it wouldn't get caught unless you lean back and don't comit
