do any of you guys have your bindings mounted true centered ?? If you do how do you like it compare to a normal setup

i had line 1260's center mounted...obviously it'd great for switch but now i mount back more cuz centermount makes them kind of goofy-feeling for all mtn.

now i mount at a happy medium, for my TM's, +2 from recommended, so it's like -4 from true center

i wouldn;t completely center mount unless you only ski park

'you should probably get bindings or it will be hard to stay on your skis...don't get gloves tho, gloves are out. just use a cigarette to keep your hands warm' -221

yeah, if you have a pair of skis that you ride regularly and also have a pair that you just fuck around in the park on then center mounting is ok, but unless you have a 100% park pair, dont do it

i center mounted my enemies, and i ski park maybe 60% of the time. They work fine all around.

center mount feels really weird so I just have them at the mounting line on my Tms I don't think that riding switch is worth center mounting your skis and then being uncomfortable regular

a few years ago i rode on my friends center mounted 1260s. wow, impossible to ski with. they didnt even feel stable on the way to the jump. and when i went into, like, 6 inches of pow i almost immediately double ejected.

i have a backup pair of line 1260s center mounted, and i would say it makes the biggest difference in riding switch, it makes it feel really good, but the fact is it doesnt really help all that much on rails, or for spinning, so you really dont want to sacrifice the all mountain performance for small benefits

center mounted skis goo so much better for everything everyhwere on the mounted it really helps for switch and it helps for landing and especially for rails

Here's another idiotic gaper post. Center of ski is where YOU ARE SUPPOSED to mount your ski, it's NOT the middle of the ski you idiots! Look at your skis and you'll see the light...

Don't some Atomic bindings slide? They used to have that. YOu could mount your skis with the boot on the center mark and the binding all the way back, then slide them forward for park/switch riding...

...

SWB

public enemies are center mounted if the binding is mounted +7.5cm but after center mounting it is crappy to ride all mountain. my bindings are mounted +4cm..

center mounting is good for all mtn too. If your not skiing park its likely you will still be skiing switch and doing butters so its the way to go. esp. if you ride skis that are designed and tested for center mounting(i.e fuji)

its tight

dooo it

i mounted my Tm's +2 from center and it was horrible. I found myself crossing my tails when i skied backward. Skiing forward was crazy to.

my dads atomics have 3 settings, Race, Normal, and extreme. All of them are back from center but, race moves the binding back for more stability but less control, normal is normal, and extreme moves it up a little for more control but less stability.

and i dont really wanna know...

so dont tell me anymore

if you mounted yours 2+ from center then your tails were sooo much longer than your tips, thats fucked. mine are 3/4in behind True center and my tails are the same length approx. give or take a cm

true center is retarted unless you ONLY ski park. but then you're a park rat, which is retarted too

ive got salomon bindings mounted on a demo plate, i can slide them forward or back 2cm if i want to.

if I ever see Shane McConkey, I'm going to point at his skis and go 'Dude, they look like waterskis!' just to keep the trend going.

i got mine fujatives true center. longer forward then core center. 10+. i had pe's mounted at midsole and 5+ in the start of the winter, and broke them. when i got my fujatives at 10+ they were really weird to ski on. but i got used to it after skiing one day. theyre much better, got soo much more control now.

I have never skied it, but I imagine it would be kinda cool

my tweaks are like +2 from core center....

it sounds awkward....maybe ill get the chronics instead of the invaders because of it...or maybe not

"Holy shit, did you see that tweaked out pencil! That was insane, that guy really knows how to rip."

Im gonna tru-senter mount my TMs and see how that goes. If I like it, then I might mount my Fujatives that way also.

well if youve got a park ski and a big mtn ski also, then mounting the park ski center is a good idea.

center mount is fun in the park, but im not a big fan of it outside the yellow pill, obviously it helps with spinng, but it takes more effort to carve, i have two pairs of skis however so i center mounted my fs's and i use my bc's outside the park, if youve got two pairs its a fun thing to do, if not id recomend mounting a little ways back, but maybe not the complete carving point or whatever

center mounting isn't bad for all mountain, so long as your skis aren't complete noodles. i've got new PE's mounted at +9.5cm and they hold an edge really well. floating in deep pow takes a little work, but it's worth it.

i have centre mounted skis and i love them in and outside of the park even thought its a bit differnt out side of the park i got o board of normal skis that its cool to have something difernt and i love skiing swich more then anything
