hey i have a question i got some dynastar troublemakers i read some threads saying the edges suck and that i would fuck em up gindin rails...does anyone have firsthand experience? i dont want them so bad i cant ski groomed runs any more

i skied my tms for one season, mostly park. the edges have lots of cracks, but so far havnt peeled. Yeah grinding will fuck up the edges eventually, but you cant buy a park ski and stay away from rails. just dont expect them to last more than a couple seasons.

All skis will sucumb to rail damage eventually. However my tm's lost their edge really quick. Once one part fell out more fell out. Without the edge the ski got really soft. I loved the ski but the edges explode if you ski the ski hard. But who needs an edge anyway

i personally haven't owned a pair but my friend who did said it was an amazing ski but after some disasters on flat downs, well the edge didn fall out but they dented easily and it made bulge in the py-tex, cracked edge, etc... but he still rides them

i had laroses and the edges cracked after one day, 11 cracks after a week, and there were large chunks of edge missign after a month. my suggestion is dont go anywhere near dynastar

i just bought a pair. I think they will be fine. If they last the season, I will be happy. It all depends on how hard or how much you abuse them
