The trouble makers are easily the best ski out...if you wish to be replacing skis all year long...than by all means buy PE's :) personally witnessed a brand new pair snapped simply by being flexed on the ground.

oh and by the way...can't say I've broken even ONE troublemaker...and I really dont think anyone else on the team has either...pulled edges for sure...but what ski doesn't do that on rails.

155, 165, 175 right now, and prolly mid season when the start of the 05 product starts to show up you will see 182.

 
I ski the trouble makers right now, and am in love with the ski. The greatest ski of all time, that i have ever riden. But i am thinking of trying out 4frnt, i have heard some good things. We will see though

how are the skis outside of the park though? I've been riding the conepts size 180 my whole life but last year my edges broke on my new concpets. I want a wider ski so Im thinking about the Trouble Makers but there only out in 175 which is kinda short for me. Even though Im only 6'1 or so I like a longer ski. I hear the bindings are mounted in the center to, which sucks, its sounds like there only good for park rats. But what are they like outside the park, in the pow or on steep slopes? Thanks.

 
they are good all mountian, they are not center mounted, you can do it, but i wouldn't recomend it

Dude, just because I have the same icon doesn't mean I AM itsbackfliptime...read the name.

ANyway, it wasn't the ONLY pair I saw break...I saw PLENTY and not a single TM break. Turpin broke atleast three in competition costing him to miss an x games spot among other things. I've seen pep break atleast two pairs...bottom line...they break. Maybe their 'sick' or have a 'cool' image...but they break, bottom line. And since you guys are paying 500 plus for a single pair of skis...it would only make sense to have durability as a major decided factor. Not to mention the TM is easily the best skiing ski out there.

Dont beleive me, dont care, try a pair...you'll see.

i havn't rode the TMs but i ride the PE and they seem the most indestructable ski ive used and ive used a lot of skies before. I flexed the TM and it just seemed kinda i dont kinda like a line and ive had big problems before. I think the TM is a great ski but that would be cool if it was stronger and was a little wider for POW.

 
TM's are straight up the best ski that I've ever ridden. When they first came out Novotny and I rode them at the trade shows and couldn't believe how incredibly sick they were. We also laughed what a piece of shit the PE is. I respect that you like it if you've skied the Enemies but I definitely hated them.

to the talls guys liam and reedy: how are they for tall skiers? because i'm about 6'3'' and i was thinking 175 might be too short. and do they handle well carving?

Big lee knows what i thought after i skied them at the trade shows, i was tempted to swipe them from novotny. still, the pe doesnt ride that bad, just i perfer the TM way over the PE, this is coming from a kid who can ride just about any twin out there, not a 'spancerd' rider.

 
You tell 'em Rihm. And about the size thing, I rode the 175 all spring and summer and didn't have a problem even though I'm a lanky bastard. I'm definitely riding the 182 next year though and since I can pretty much guarantee that I'm taller than you, you shouldn't have a problem with them. Hope that's a help.
