So I finally got my TM's from D-Structure and took them up to the mtn today. Daaaaaaaaamn what a difference. These are some serious huck sticks my friends. I was boosting at least 1.5-2 feet more than usual all over the park. Swing weight and balance was incredible. They're great all mtn sticks too - skiied some crusty pow ... no problem, bumps ... no problem ... stable at speed (switch), short turns, rails, long arcs ... no problem. I even spread the mustard on my fuckin sandwich with these little green bastards. They're definately faster than my Candides and those are 180's compared to the TM's 165 length. What can I say ... I'm in love. Two words: get em.

 
bull shit a 165 is faster than a 180, tune your old skis and they will be faster. and what the fuck are you doing on 165's anyway.

yah, they're new all-mountain twins from dynastar. i guess they're supposed to be great. i've heard nothing but good things about them.

Phrosty ... I can't explain it either man - it doesn't make any sense I know but I tune my shit every other day - I skiied fresh tuned Candides yesterday and the new TM's today and the TM's felt faster (though not by a ton but you get my point - and we did get 7 inches last night so that might have had something to do with it). As for the size thing ... I wanted to try a shorter ski for just the park and the pipe ... shit, the 180's were the shortest ski I'd had in 10 years. I like the quickness of a shorter ski and they're a lot easier to spin. Don't get me wrong - I ain't going snowlerblader, just giving the shorter sticks a try for a while.

they have 165's and 175's. there are rumors about a 180 for next season.
