the trouble maker is easily the best ski i've ridden as far as flex, turns, and everything else goes, with the exeption of those pesky blow outs, with the new re-enforced edges will the ski become the jedi lightsaber of the ski world, or will it add to much weight to be atractive??, my bets on the light saber
 
well b-crews snowblades are better, i mean the flex on those things! i heard there like triple reinforced edges, sooo sick, best skis yet
 
If they really are durable as K2's edges, then I'd buy a pair. My old TMs were the best ski I have ever used aside from blowouts, damn.
 
there isn't really a weight dofference. The metal plate inside the ski is thin, but it still serves its purpose, as does the reinforced base.

i rode 175 troubles in mammoth, and i actually really liked them.

i thought it was a good flex, not too soft. but then again, i dont weigh that much.
 
I hope mine are still good. I bought them off Malone, and they dont have the Black thing under boot, but he said they should still be good. Hopefully.
 
wow, i've ridden 175 and 182 tm's and they definetly aren't what i'd consider a noodley ski. i think they have a perfect flex for big tables for someone in the 150pound range.
 
they're sick. i've ridden the new ones for half a season and no edge problems. i agree, best all around twin or at least best park twin out there
 
they have good pop and all, they just noodle when you land so you butter out sometimes and that blows. 175's were too small for me halfway through the season. i recommend if your gonna get TM's, get it atleast the same height as you if not taller.
 
I got the old TM's for an urban ski, and they are taller then me but I like them enough for me to keep riding them urban and some back woods kicker shit, not too floppy for me but I don't ski them in the park
 
if u need them stiffer get crichtons, exact same ski with an extra layer of something in them to make them stiffer and even poppier
 
the TMs have a medium flex. So, as with any skis with a medium flex, anyone weighing over 160 lbs will overpower then on big hits and hard turns. Also, to the creator of this thread, why make a thread making a statement when you don't know for sure? Ride them, then make absurd claims like "best ski ever" (even though we know the ability of the ski is largely based on the rider's preference, size, and skill).
 
i havent heard one bad thing from these skis...im pretty sure im gunna buy them unless i dont like them once i check em out.
 
yeah I don't think I'd want to hit a big table on those. Too light. I'd rather use Heads or K2s for that sort of thing.
 
they are under the base i think....you know how edges have the weird shape on the inside to hold in the ski? well the "grind plate" connects to those and holds them in more solid so the edges dont come out. so its not actually a grind plate just kinda looks like it.
 
hmmm i dont quite understand the washing out stuff. Im like 180lbs, 8'8" and the ski is a dream on big hits and pipe, and now rails (they really dont dissinegrate or blow out like they did)
