Trouble Maker vs Nothing But Trouble

What is the difference between these two skis. On the dynastar website they are described exactly the same way, but the weight on the Nothing but troubles is left out. Not having access to either of the skis makes it so i can't find out what the actual difference is, so come on worthy newschoolers, englighten me.

It's either same ski with one less fiber glass layer or same mold diffeerent sidewall I forget. Either way the Nothing But is foam core and the Tm is Wood.

Foam core vs wood that explains it, thanks. Definately explains why the left the weight out too since it would just make the nothing but troubles look like a better ski to most consumers on paper.

this is from anotehr thread-

the new trouble makers have a new material for the edge a little stronger but not alot. the nothing but troubles are the same as the old ones

ohioskier45.

i remeber asking this same question when the ski was first pictured on akiba sports, but i think i made a thread...maybe i did, but there were more responses on it...the graphics are different...i dont know about that edge thing though...

This years trouble maker and last years are exactly the same ski. Nothing was changed on them. Same edges as last year.

The Nothin But Trouble is not foam core. It is all wood. We mounted a few pair in our shop.

The skis are made in the same mold. The sidewall is a bit softer on the NBT and there is less fiberglass.

I concour your local shops full of shit. Talked to the rep and he said edges and everything about the ski are the exact same, just different graphics.

I was finding answers on this, too. The basic differences is the sidewall and topsheet materials are cheaper, I believe. Essentially, it is the difference between the Scratch BC and the BC Sprayer - just cheaper for people to buy (well, the BC has different dimensions and these are the same). But the Nothin but Trouble are just a slightly cheaper ski with a different design
