Trouble in the park

I have been skiing for about 5 years and are very comfortable on the mountain. However when I am at the park and go for a box or try a grab on the jumps I always doubt that I am going to land it and sometimes I even don't do it. I know a lot of you will say "dont be a pussy" but I want to know if there is anything I can do to get my confidence in the park to a level where I don't doubt myself?

Sometimes under committing can ends in more falling/pain than if you had gone for the trick. Example: popping onto a rail but not rotating the full 90 and slipping out on your ass vs just sliding off if you had committed. It's all in your head, don't give up, commit, and have fun.

Skiing with people that are better than you helps with gaining more confidence

this. i find i try more things when i am skiing with people that are better than me, plus if youre having a hard time with something they can give you some tips.

When you're trying a new trick, visualize yourself doing it beforehand, this really helps. Also try and convince yourself that you can do it and that you won't fall. If you think that you're gonna fall, you probably will. On features like boxes and rails when most people get scared they have a tendency to lean back and that never ends well.

No lie, the dude who taught me compared to rapping with no material. You have to visualize you doing it in your head to finish (land the trick). Most relatable teaching method i would have to say

to build confidence in the park on jumps and rails you have to do them. there is no way to get more comfortable on jumps and rails if you dont try them. You can progress without trying much but its going to be a lot harder to get good quick.

This, he has taught me everything that I have learned so far.

Honestly you're best off just committing and going for it. I have the same problem all the time. Once I just say fuck it and I try I end up doing alright. Doubting yourself is gonna make you freeze up while you're on a rail of in the air or whatever you're doing. And remember that your body is not made of glass and when you crash you won't die. Good luck man have fun!

Jusr start small and work your way up. Eventually you'll start to get that confidence in the park and be ready to try more stuff. It takes patience but you can do it!

Right before you get to the feature, hit yourself in the balls, it will take your mind off of being nervous long enough for you stomp your trick....

In all honesty you just gotta nut up and take some hits, if you dont take hits then your not going to progress. Start small and move to bigger shit when your killing it on the small shit.

honestly just hitting features a bunch will give you the most confidence. for me, even if i eat crap, or come close to doing what i planned to do, it boosts my confidence. just the fact that you hit it, and am going to stomp it next times gives me confidence and hype. and... practice practice practice, you may fall a lot at first, but it will all come!
