I'm saying this to many many amateur film makers that are shooting rails/jumps and such, this is not about follow cams. I'm aiming at the shot that the cameraman is NOT moving.

USE a fucking tripod, this is what throws me off on every every amateur movie I see.

Get a tripod, and loosen all your bolts on it, it will move really good, and it wont shake like crazy.

I dont want to be an ass about it, but it just looks better.
 
make sure its agood fluid head one cause a non fluid head tripod is about as good as a 14 year old handheld filmer with parkinsons
