Tripod Help

So, RIP to my tripod, story short. Got into a accident and of course my tripod was in the car and didn't make it out. Need to buy a new one today though. Looking for some suggestions.

Gonna be used for almost all video, looking for real smooth pans. Gonna have my D750 on it with a monitor, and mic. So a decent weight in case I want to throw my slider on or something else. Also would be a huge plus if it got down low for ground shots.

I know there's some people on here who can definitely help me out. I'm looking for you lol.

I was looking at the ProMaster Video Tripod. Seemed decent for $500.00

Don't have a price range because I know what tripods cost lol. Just don't throw me some ridiculous Hollywood $2,000.00 piece.

Thanks so much! + for help!

Whats your max budget? If I were you I would go for an fsb 4. Sure they aren't the cheapest but you're getting what you pay for with it

For a video tripod system under $500 you have a few options. See my links below:

If you want to go cheaper then those, I'll suggest this tripod. For the price it's hard to beat.

If you can't find a tripod system you like (head and legs), I would suggest getting the Manfrotto 502HD head with legs that fit your budget and needs. Some of the brands to look at within your price range are Manfrotto, Libec, Benro, Sachtler. Also I'm curious as to which slider system you own, it may or may not work with some of the systems I listed above.

Hope this helps, feel free to ask any more questions regarding to video tripod systems.

Best tripod in that range would be a satchler ace

If you can bump your budget up, there are lots of options from 1000-1500. I bought a $400 manfrotto kit and the legs broke within the first year, the head was shit after two. I spent $1200 on my current setup (satchler fsb4 head, miller solo legs) and its been 4 years now and everything is perfect still and I use my tripod at work every week.

I like the looks of that tripod you linked. And reviews seem like it's a solid bang for the buck. And it's in the price range.

Do you happen to know if it's capable of dropping down low for ground shots. I couldn't seem to find any information on that.
