How long does everyone think it's going to take for triples to be a thing you need to have like how doubles are today. I personally think its going to be a while because i think skier are going to just keep adding more and more style until they have to go bigger. Post you thoughts
 
I don't think triples will become like doubles for a while. The size of the jumps needed are not available to even all the pros, whereas doubles can be done on resort size jumps.
 
BUMP/possible threadjack I did not want to make another thread on triples and get yelled at but....
seeing as it is later December...How many triples (not triple back or front) do you think will be thrown and landed by the end of the ski season? It does sound like a noob question, but i am just curious. And please please let's try and leave out as much aerials as possible, there are plenty of threads already.
 
My theory is it won't really start to blow up till its done in a competition.

There were alot of doubles being thrown around before Jon did one at the JOI in Are and after that they just blew up. Even Unnatural doubles are blowing up the same way.

So i think the major question is which competition is going to see the start of the triple wave?

You've got to be kidding me. I've been further even more decided to use even go need to do look more as anyone can. Can you really be far even as decided half as much to use go wish for that? My guess is that when one really been far even as decided once to use even go want, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like. It's just common sense.
 
Depends on how nice and big they make jumps. Especially at competitions.

Big enough, with landings that can take it, I'm sure there'll be triples all over the place. It'll be epic, the only thing I'm worried about is how many kids are going to have to risk serious injury to be competitive. Which is already happening with doubles, so oh well.

Maybe 4-5 years, and it'll be where doubles are now? imo
 
I reckon if the jump at JOI is big enough this year a few will come out. They probably won't ever be like doubles 'cause the normal park jumps won't ever be big enough
 
What we need are jumps that are less distance in the gap but way taller and steeper with reeeeeeealy steep landings and then people will start throwing triples and even quads!

ohhh wait.................
