Man creates meaning right? what about two or more people who have created the same meaning, and hook up together to share what theyve discovered with other people? are we not supposed to do that? we're supposed to sit with our meaning alone in the dark? obviously not, fuck that. So why not share, if it helps someone, and i quote 'many people will die without ever really knowing who they are or what they could become' - so if it helps someone figure out who they are and where they are going, shouldn't you try?

actually, might you have an obligation to do something? Even legally, a Duty of Care. Say (we learned this in class last week) you ran a rafting company. one day, you wonder something about your lifejackets. rafting uses type 4 flotation, canoeing and kayaking are 2-3. You think theres a class 5. You go to the industry (the industry standard is type 4) and they say "there is a higher level of flotation available, but you dont need it according to regulation"

so you dont upgrade your lifejackets past industry standard.

so, 4 people die, and you get sued.

the judge found out he had gone looking for better lifejackets, and found them, and didnt buy them.

You got sued for breach of duty.

bringing it full circle.

so yeah, its kinda like that.

well, I never said A better way to live, i was very careful of that, and you bring up an interesting point as to what im doing now. to illicit change (im not sure that the correct use of the word, but i like it) and I find myself amidst a ratio of about 70/30 % ratio of people who dont care / the people that do care. And those 30% are what you need to socialize with for your own growth, and the 70% , well they have to be persuaded to care for their growth, not for your own, because they'll never but it and see tight through it.

At least on the internet, i can complete my trains of thought and write it down, and someone else is going to read it, maybe gain something from it, and maybe replies and I get to learn something about it too.

its not ALL Im doing, but it becomes a large percentage, because im not out there with the 70%.

Fair enough. You were thinking in more broad terms, while I was being more specific. Makes sense what you mean how the subject could drift into a bigger issue. However, I didn't really see any need to look into the matter closer. My responses were more to keep the with the integrity of the original post.
