I totally agree. I certainly don't think that celebrities have better or more interesting lives than I do. I don't understand why people are so obsessed with them.
 
he is right tho, our celebs will do anything for attention and the press promotes it. turn on the radio, there isnt any good music anymore because its all washed up teen movie stars. turn on the tv, no good movies because most of the actors are washed up rappers.

Over the last decade the ability to distinguish, movie star from super model, from singer, from hollywood debutant is becoming nearly impossible. Instead they are just dubbed celebirties and can freely dabble in whatever type of work they want too. Even glancing at a fashion magazine these days, its no longer a supermodel on the cover, its jessica simpson or katie holmes. Celeberties have become irratic (Tom Cruise), self promoting idiots (Paris Hilton), who will do anything to put an extra dime in their pockets. Instead of viewing hollywoods elite as romantics and intellectuals (which it used to be), now people love to see what kind of stupid shit some drugged up party princess is going to do. Its sad that so many people as so fascinated with other people fucking up that half of LA now makes there money on promoting people inadequacys. I just recently watched wild on taradise and I actually felt dumber at the end of the show. How is it that this dumb socialite has been given her own travel show where she goes to various countries and discovers absolutley nothing. She didnt even know what the fucking acropolis in Athens was! Entertainment today has become a joke. There very little talent left, and marketing schemes by celeberties PR's are becoming ridiculous. I blame it all on reality TV. That shit stinks.

america is a democratic county which means that people can make thier own decisions and speak thier mind. If this person feels "tripple fuck america" he is speaking his mind which supposidly this country is all about. So basicly, this person is being more patriotic in speaking his mind than all you hipocrits who wont ever speak your mind and just america ass kiss.

I love living in America, but I hate how Celebrities are idolized. If I was really famous, I would wear clothes made out of cow poop, just to see if everyone else started wearing it

well, issues morph into ideas about issues that eventually transend the original issue, helping to stich together a more complete global and universal picture. maybe the substance of the issue leaves little to be desired, but the potential ideas to form while attepmting to tackle said issue may become more important than the issue, which maintains holding a conversation about said issue in a place of interest, at least.

a non-issue maybe, but that doesnt mean it should be ignored or forgotten about.

seriously, the real problem with america is that at the end of the day we all go home satisfied that we got ours, not giving a fuck about our neighbor, and thats what its all about, thats why people come to america, to get rich in wealth and material posessions, and now ill get reamed for another 50 well thought out replies about how fucked what i just said was, some day tho, maybe not in our generation, maybe not in our kids, but some day well get ours, i just hope that when it does happen the people to do it are more peaceful than ourselves, but i doubt it the way we go about things

How about the fact that our culture and society revolves around the worship of "talented" people who generally are not educated to a higher level than high school. What if all the energy people put into keeping track of our sorry excuse for a pop-culture went into the betterment of society? We have no great ambition or goals as a society and look what we are degrading into- celebrity worship. Well then...what is this bigger picture? People taking a interest in false idols, and that it is wrong? If so, how would you cure this problem? Tell people what they can and can't watch? That probably won't work. Control what people watch? I'm not for an authoritarian solution. I personally couldn't care less what people pay attention to on TV because there are a million alternatives. Let the idiots have their puppet show, it's their own choice for buying into that stuff.
