Triple cork thing! WHAT?

alright, i dont really know the names of many tricks, but i watched thats it thats all last night, and besides being the sickest snow related movie i have ever seen (besides out cold), i noticed there was some kind of triple cork type thing in there. it blew me away, and so i was wondering if anyone else saw it and knew what it was. or didnt know what it was and was as amazed as me. so did anyone else see it?hope this isnt a repost. i going to watch it again right now to see if i can tell what it is better...
 
travis rice. I don't know if i would call it a triple cork, but he definitely goes inverted 3 times off one jump.
 
watched that movie again last night, soooooooooo sick. rice and friends literally destroyed every jump, mindblowing, seriously

but I guess we all saw this in the teaser already and there were quite a few threads on the triple flip
 
its nuts, but it appears to be triple back 180. its not triple cork, i'm getting so tired of everyone trying to make the most complicated names for tricks.
 
there have been other thread? o sorry. i like the very begining with the hillbilly guy, the most hilarious part!
 
this man is correct, it is a triple back late 180. crazy thing is, i still dont think thats travis' best trick of the movie. his double corks and all that shit with the trees in jackson was just unreal.

ya sorry guys, i just saw the shot for the first time and could tell it was a triple, but i knew it wasnt a triple cork, just didnt know what it was so i said that...
 
I have said it before, I will say it again. Thats it Thats All is the best movie ever made on snow period. Beats the fuck out of any ski movie and makes the bc jumps skiers do look like ant hills. The segment with the triple flip in it is probably my favorite segment of all time. It has Kids by MGMT for music and just insane stuff. The shot after the triple flip is absolutely nuts to. A double, not sure what it is, where the riders head grazes the branches of the top of a tree probably a solid 50 feet in the air.
 
thats craaazy. if someone did that on skis it would probably just look like an aerials trick.
 
it's not in the uk one either and it won't let me buy it from the american one. it sucks.
 
i really really hope that isn't the music that skiing movies are headed toward, i don't listen to any music like that so im a bit biased but i see no flow or creativity in that music, when i listen to it i see jumpy ecits focusing on big hits and huge tricks which is far from the stylish lines and backcountry airs that i enjoy so much in ski movies. there is no way i could imagine Pep hucking a steezy unnatural flatspin to anything even in the vicinity of that music. if you like it, good for you, but keep it the hell out of my ski movies.
 
nice, 50th post on my thread. i really think people shouldnt have posted that, just to encuage more people to buy that movie to see the trick. but wtvr its all good.i wish i could so something like that someday on skis, but i dout itl ever happen.
 
i'll agree, the music is very different from the norm, i think it works for this movie, but others would end up just being terrible with it.
