Nobody has every actually done one. It's been attempted three times and all died. Not from the crash but 7 days later they all died in their sleep. Sketchy stuff.

I'm not even sure if a single backflip has been done. I remember my teacher in high school physics explaining to me one day the reason behind it, but I think straight flips are impossible. Trying them runs the risk of destroying the known universe as we know it.
