Remember when skiing was more a version of expression and there were no rules about what tricks you can and can't do? most kids started skiing because there were no rules, and it sucks that now kids are hated on for not fitting a mold.

Im not sure if you were aware or not but JOI is a BIG AIR CONTEST, therefore if he only has left side spins he will be fine. Sure it might hurt him in a slopestyle contest but thats completely different and he can cross that bridge and learn right side when he comes to it. In the mean time, send his ass to JOI so he can triple or quad just for all you haters.

Its skiing, and in skiing you can do whatever the Fuck you want hence the term FREE-skiing. and by the way whether any of you like it or not and hate on him or not, your all still gunna watch the next video this kid puts out....

 
Holy hell, and holy hucked. Those tricks were crazy, but by no means stomped. I know he backslapped hard on that last triple but he held that mute grab for so long.

it's free skiing. FREE skiing. If someone feels like doing a natural double before they can do a unnatty 9, fucking good for them, why do you care? you're a moderator on the biggest freeski site, you couldn't figure this one out on your own?

also, as stated many times in this thread, the video is for a big air competition....you asked him to throw a rodeo 5. He could stomp the fuck out of a rodeo 5 over that same jump 20/20 times if he's throwing smooth triple corks. You'd know that if your best trick wasn't a shin bang

Some of those tricks were nutty! But ya know what I dont want to see at JOI? People hucking themselves in a spin only to be stopped by the landing of the jump while their arms continue the rotation. You wanna see someone do a bunch of hucked flips and spins you can turn on the nbc sports network on the weekend and watch aerials. And NO, THIS IS NOT HATE. If I were to be in the park on a random day and see this guy throw a double and and I started shit talking it, then that would be hate. The minute you make a video, especially to try to get into a COMPETITION you are inviting peoples opinions. OPINIONS! Also, it seems like the same people that complain about comp skiing turning into aerials are the same people getting mad at the criticism of this edit. Every thread on this site seems to turn into a new bandwagon for people to jump on...and there are a lot of bandwagon people on this site who cant form opinions for themselves.

I never hated on triples. I'm not a fan of them but I think people should do what they want. You're an idiot if you think I don't have my own opinion
