Trip to Cancun, all inclusive or not?

Ok, so U of U kicks ass and has a fall break the 8-12 (so the 6-14 with weekends) and me and my buddy are gonna go to cancun. I'm looking online (hotwire) and i have a deal for 7 nights in a hotel with plane tickets. One hotel is 250 bucks cheaper because its non all inclusive, but with the all inclusive it covers 30 bucks a day. My question to you, would this "all inclusive" hotel include alcohol? Because if it did it would be a steal and a half. Hook it up.
 
Yes, but my question is would you have to pay for alcohol with the all inclusive? Guess i didnt make that clear.
 
dude go all inclusive. free everything. you pay the one price and you can get anything you want. INCLUDING alcohol. i went to cancun a year ago and it was fucking sweet. seriously you wont regret going all inclusive.
 
I was thinking about calling the hotel, because meals i could keep under 30 a day, but alco is gonna rack up double that at clubs and such, so it would be money.
 
I googled it and from the 4 resorts that it showed on the first page, they all said alcohol was not included for free. but you can honestly get 40 cent coronas on most beach's down there.
 
Cabo doesn't have as big of a club/party scene as cancun. I could care less if its americanized, its legal drinking and week that i would do nothing else but sit around and try to drink in salt lake, so cancun is prime, then i can ski during spring break.
 
If you want a real authentic mexican experience, go to a fishing village a couple hours away from puerto villarta.
 
dude Cancun sucks. It's so overated and like trashy. Go 20 miles south to the Mayan Riviera. Like near Playa Del Carmen. The all inclusive places around there are the best.

go all inclusive, the place i stay at in cancun, is all inclusive, all the food u want, all the drinks u want and u just pay that one price. Save the rest of ur money for whatever else u wanna do while ur there
 
JEA! Playa Del Carmen is the shit, went there this spring break, dayummm all inclusive, everybody breathes tequila! All inclusive is hella worth it, good food good alcohol. The resort where I stayed at they had some really nice restaurants that you could book for dinner (inclusive), soo good.
 
dude alcohol is so cheap in mexico, id probly do non inclusive. did an inclusive with the fam, ahile ago, its good if you're down to just sit at your hotel all week. cuz you already paid for all your meals and beer and shit you might as well drink them there. so yeah i dunno.
 
All inclusive includes drinks. You can usually buy a club tour package in the lobby of any hotel which will prepay for drinks and cover at a different club every night. Definately reccomend doing that. Cancun is the shit most random pussy I've ever gotten in a week.
 
when i went, they made me and my brothers wear a bracelet that showed that we couldnt drink. so i dont know about the age, but id say all inclusive isnt worth it if you want to drink because of that possibility

 
NOt doing all inclusive weill be worst decision you can make, I jsut got back from playa del carmen ( 40 miles south of cancun) where i stayed at all inclusve resorst. NOt only is there free food and alchohol, but it takes all stress out of vacation, plus there always loads of girls at these kinda resorts.
 
i went to playa del carmen..and the all inclusive thing there included alcohol...people in my family were like 16 and u had to be 18 to get the "adult" wristband for alcohol and they didnt even verify the age..
 
you're forgetting to factor in the fact that you have to book 2 seats for yourself....not such a steal anymore eh?
 
k just got done talking with my friend (who is 16) who just got back from going to cancun on sunday. he went to an all inclusive hotel, and at the front desk they gave wristbands out telling your age. yellow was 18 and older (drinking age) and red is younger than that. somehow the lady at the desk gave him a yellow one instead and didnt notice and the entire week he got completely wasted at the bars and clubs that were part of the resort for free. not sure where youre staying but his was all inclusive and all of the alcohol was free. hope that helps
 
oh and the wristbands are your id for the week so you dont have to go through the hassle of carrying your wallet around whenever you went somewhere.
 
haha hes 6'4" or so and can easily pass as 21 let alone 18. hed be fine there (my friend that just went to cancun)
 
when i went, our hotel offered wrist bands. 100 bucks was all we could drink at the hotel bars for the week.

what hotel are you going to?
 
i went to cancun two years ago and all inclusive=all you can drink/eat.

and also you get some pretty good deals on transportation and clubs in the main area of cancun.
 
I've done Cancun... really really touristy, more so than I was expecting, and while it was kinda fun to drink, thats about it. The city is hella sketch, everything is expensive as fuck for Mexico... just go to Canada and get a fake tan.
