My dad said I can take a trip out west finally in the winter, i want a very nice park but also a nice mountain with good snow, what mountain do you prefer?

Im prolly taking a trip as well...where are you leaving from...i was thinking whistler for my first trip out west. plus you can party too

 
Me, a friend, and my brother are going out to Jackson Hole the week after Christmas. I'm pretty stoked for it. I'm not to conserned about their 'park'. I'm not going out west to ski park, seeing as how thats all i ski on the east, im looking for some deep pow pow and some cliffs... oh man, im counting down the days.

yeah my friends went to jackson whole last summer, they didnt have a big park but a decent one with amazing skiing, whistler has both

vail has a killer park, but weak in-bounds skiing....i hear the aspen area is sick, w/ out of bounds shit being real gnar and easily accessable

keepin it fresh since 97....
 
i want to go to wistler probly or maybie alberta

but the problem is that I go there alone the hotel will cost a lot

i live in boston now so id be leavin right from there as well...what have you found for airfare so far? anything cheap.

use priceline.com you can get roundtrip from chicago to whistler for $345, it would be even less to colorado!

If I could I would, but I can't. Now shut the hell up.

 
ski540 if you havn't been out west before which I thought you might not have sinc eyou said your dad FINALLY blah blah blah anyway. Fuck the park if youve never been out west looking for good big mountain skiing its way more fun than the park. The park is good on east coast cuz theres nothing else to do. I suggest going somewhere like Jackson,snowbird,but mammoth had o.k big mountain and the best park ever aswell.

definlty to utah. u have brighton, snowbird and alta for real skiing, and snowbird and park city have good parks, and brighton has both. utah is ddef the place to go

iv been to alta but i have been so unlucky its reiculous with the snow there has been like none

Jackson's park is just small(area wise), but they now how to make good features. Seeing how the guy in charge started Camp of Champs.

no shit dude, me to, im going to jackson or whistler, My dads a doc so he said he would go to a confrence there and they would pay for everything. pretty sick go to Brek man

Whistler or Lake Louise, they both have killer big mountain skiing and killer out of bounds skiing. They both have good parks but don't ski park if you come out west. Lake Louise is probably cheaper. If you do Lake Louise, make sure you go to Kicking Horse as well.
