If X varies inversely as y and x=4 when y=12, when y=3 x=?...how do i do this?

inversley means as one goes up the other goes down. so im guessing if y=3 then x= x+9 or 13 i think, not sure what the original x was

12=k/4
k=48

3=48/x
3x=48

x=16
