now i know most of you are like middle schoolers but for the rest i really need some help.

state whether each function is postive or negative:

a) secant 20 degrees

b) tangent 150 degrees

c) sine 300 degrees

d) cosecant 135 degrees

i know all that shit but what the hell is posotive and negative? do you mean if the answer was -1/2 or 1/2?

the trick to that is the term "All Students Think Clearly". ASTC stands for "all", "sine", "tangent", and "cosine". the term defines which terms are positive in which quadrants, and it goes in order from quadrant 1-4. so, in quadrant one, all terms (sin, cos, and tan including their inverses) are positive. in quadrant 2, sin and its inverse (cosecant) is positive. in quadrant 3, tangent and its inverse (cotangent) is positive. and in quadrant 4, cosine and its inverse are positive.

sooooo simple

lifesaver

All Schools Teach Crap is the one our maths teacher told us. she said she figured it would make sense to our agegroup.

haha our teacher told us to remember it by "All Sloths Take Craps" yeah he was a funny guys. everyone remembered it too because its so easy to remmeber

haha thats funny, im working on this shit right now. it fucking sucks.

im taking it as a sophomore, bad decision and i will regret it for the rest of my life

They gave me that circle and told me to remember it when I was in grade 8 or 9. They never told me about CAST or other tricks to remembering it.

Anybody remember SohCahToa?
