I've got a better idea, don't purposely break your skiis to get new ones on warrenty because thats like insurance fraud and you're just hurting the ski industry.

well, if you have to force em to get break, its cuz you would keep them the next year!!so its not hurting the industry cuz skis cost notin to the company...

Every time you buy a ski, the company you bought it from gives it to you up the ass. Example: There is at MOST $50 worth of raw materials, processing time, and expenses in a 1080 ski. If you buy it at retail, it costs you between $500-$700. So if you wanna get new skis thanks to the warranty, go ahead, scam all you want. Just be sure to know that it won't always work. I know older 1080s used to delamn a lot and had problems with the base separating from the edge, especially at the tip, dunno if the new ones do the same thing.

All that being said, abusing Armada or Line for warranty skis is NOT cool, as those companies work their asses off to produce GOOD twintip skis, put all their profits back into twiptip R&D and support the freesking industry. So don't rip them off.

man, line might work hard but their skis sure suck. my friend got darksides and he s skiied maybe 12 days and the tops sheets are ripping off, bases are separated from teh edges and there is a crack in his tip and he only skiied 12 days!

But your friend's darksides are a LEGIT warranty claim, so I don't feel too bad for him. Tell him to call Line, they'll help him out. Line skis were shit a couple of years ago, but they improve every year. Just call them, and they'll help you

ok, i gotta question? Does salomon do their warranty thing if the edge falls out, or is coming out? This is what my skis did. I know will break them this summer, but i am scared that if send em back it will take too long to get em back. Also, does anybody have the MArker 1200 Frees and broke them. i only weight like 100 lbs and nromally don't put much of a hurtin n skis but these bindings suck. I can like, rip em apart everytime i ski.
