Tricks that are easier than you thought

fakie 2 on pretzel 2 out i got after only a couple tries. Way easier than forward pretzels because it allows you to land right foot first on the rail instead of left foot first. Plus you are never blind during a fakie 2 like you are during a forward 2 on.

Backflips I guess. After the first few attempts you don't really have to think about the rotation so much when you do it. The hardest part of it is over coming that fear of going upside down. Can't believe I still haven't done a backflip on a trampoline.

taught them to myself because i was too much of a puss to try jumps. though i still forget to bring my tips up occasionally and end up looking like shit.
but i found 3s wayy easy once i actually set my rotation right

^first time i tried lincoln it came out like and over corked five. kinda strange looking, but i stuck with it for the rest of that season.

to be honest every jump trick i have tried, rails on the other hand, are so much harder than i think they are going to be

corks

underflips

Lincolns are hard as hell but fun when you get them.

back 6's out

Hand drags for sure

Pretty much anytrick you can think of, even doubles not hard when you picture it right arn't as hard as it seems.

Honestly, after learning 3's, backflips were nothing--literally just a balls trick. But I know what you mean about spinning--the transition between 5 and 7 was pretty small, I haven't done a 9 since last season cause i've been focusing on style, but yeah.

My biggest fear are switchups though haha. I feel really comfortable with flat 3, rodeo 5, rodeo 7, cork 5, cork 7 backflips, frontflips, and 7's. As far as rails, I can 2 and 4 out both directions, but I would still rather 270 on than switchup. They just scare the fuck out of me for some reason.

Dude I do cork 7 and 9 most days skiing and feel really comfortable doing them but for some reason im still scared of cork 5's. Did you learn it on tramp first or just roll into them on a 30fter? Any tips cause i really wanna dial them, I should probably just grow some balls and do it

Switch ups on a legit rail, I'd been doing them on mailboxs and pvc rails for a long time, but my first try on a rail was on a jump on, and I landed it perfect

People just think backflips are hard because half of the people that try to do them have no idea what they are doing and land on theyre neck...i seen it happen

Tips, its all about relaxing. Seeing as how you cork 7/9 you just gotta dial it down. On take off, thrust your hips out at the landing and towards the spin. At 90ish reach for safety/blunt depending on your preference and let it come around, be patient. Essentially during a cork 5 the only times you need to think about what you're doing are on take off, grab, and just past 360 when you spot the landing.
