Tricks that are easier than you thought

What are some tricks where after you landed the first time you thought to yourself "Wow, that wasn't hard at all!"

Flat 5's.

This is probably the biggest one. Everyone thinks backflips are harder than they are, when really they're easy, just super scary.

I just see someone younger than me do a frontflip so i think I can do it and nail it first try, just takes balls, most tricks aren't that hard

I'd say almost every trick that I've learned has been easier than I thought it would be. Front flip, back flip, switch rodeo, flat 3, rodeo 9, all were landed first try. The exception to that rule being pretzels and corks. Pretzels took me a solid month of trying to actually get a hang of them, but once I got them they were there to stay. Corks also took a while to get dialed in.

Literally every trick I've ever done has been as hard, if not harder than I thought. Maybe I'm just not cut out for this sport but I've struggled with everything from lip slides to 3's to switch 1's.

So yeh, I'm yet to find a trick thats been easier than I thought lol.

Those. And k-feds are way easier that I thought, you just do the switchup and keep the rotation going.

Defintely not lincolns, hard as fuck to get that rotation right in your head

Also, blind 4s are hard as hell

Backflips are hard to know how hard to throw them but yea they're not that bad, but the argument that they're easier than 3s is a joke

I think front 4's out are really easy, most people get them first or second try, also 270 on, 270 out or 270 on switch up 270 out is easy cause your already spinning and it just happens naturally

Learning one extra spin is always easier than you think, 3s to 5s I found to be so easy but some people have trouble, also 7s aren't that bad if you're already doing 5s, and when I've done 7 -> 9 it wasn't hard but I haven't done a 9 in a while so I guess they're hard
