i want to see more stuff off cliffs. is it a lot harder to do off a cliff? obvioulsty your falling 60 feet and stuff but a misty would look so insane off a huge cliff if they just dropped off kind of staight into a smooth misty or something. I dont know im jsut tired of backflips and lincolns and stuff

It is totally do-able with a packed take off. but the question is is cheating if smooth the in run and build a little bit of a kick. because out of the pow it's hard to do anything like that.

give it a year and thats what were going 2 be seeing

SKI PORN - corked 7 off a 40 footer (skier unknown 2 me)

PUSH - mike wilson Rodeo 5(?)

I've seen it.. Like 7 years a ago at hemlock valley they had a cliff over a cat track in there park it was crazy.

Cory Zila did a cork 7 of a 55 foot cliff intoa bombed out landing a tthe Taos Big mountain comp and stomped it...

3s arent that hard but once you go over 25 feet with a spin landing is hard as you need to land perfect in pow to stomp shit..

Misty 7s work Dana Flair doesd those but I wanna see some rodeo 5s and misty 5s, and some fakie cork 5s of natural shit its hard though you have to be way more patient on take off than with packed down jumps especially fakie casue you can get caught spinning to early in the pow on the take off. In an old issue of skieur mag Mike douglas had a trick tip for 360 muts of cliffs and he said you need to almost step out of 1 foot to start teh spin so you dont get caught up..

when i think of cliffs drops i put them with freshies and/or first decents on backcountry/untracked areas/first descents in alaska with NO packed down takeoffs. its just not the same for someone to make a cliff out of snow becasue its not a cliff. its just a step down. its nothing new.
