sorry for the lack of punctuation my phone screen is half broken

Imo the trick is a misty 5. There's always contention over forward-set tricks, but this is def not a bio. I wish I could tell you how to cork

First is a Misty450 - you should really take them to 5, 7 or 9. Going to 4 can hurt

Second is a Cork690 - taking it to 720 is ideal. It's not about getting it around, it's all about the set. Looks like you didn't commit hard enough and ended up on your ass

First is a misty, study bobby brown videos he's the master at them.

At first that's what I thought, but I watched that stomp it tutorial about flatspins and rodeos and the way I set my shoulders looked a lot like his flatspins. In a misty shoulders go down, but I kinda open mine up and around. Your prolly right tho.

So I should just set harder?

On that cork 7 try to set the trick harder. Over emphasize your set and that will help pull the rotation around. If you set too hard you will most likely go to 9 which isnt a huge deal.

Watch this tutorial and it will help you out.

As everyone said, The first trick is almost a misty 5.

In both cases, going a little faster and popping more is going to help a lot, giving you control in the air and landing you in the sweet spot instead of close to the knuckle.

If you're comfortable hitting jumps switch and can do cork 5s, it might be good to try switch cork 5s before the cork 7. The switch cork 5 is a really natural feeling rotation, and will set you up well to go off axis and land forward.

Misty5: think off a 90° - sideways flip - 90°. Left Shoulder opens elbow punch some behind you, right shoulder drops - fist / arm punch something infront of you towards the landing. You can practice that on the floor. Start standing straight - initiate a body roll on the floor as described above.

if your left shoulder is not going towards your lateral spinning direction - you always will end up under rotated - this is what happened on your vid.

For Cork7 - watch my video - yes it tells you how to get it with blunt but the theory applies to a no grab / safety grab too.

You morked a lot. You want to cork. (go onto yt.com/coachtrifes)

But as your names indicating it, might as well learn it with the blunt straight away.

We always say, hips don't lie. Every backwards tricks (like corks etc.) are emerging from popping your hips upwards ahead.

If you lean over hips with your upper body, you will mork, florp, die whatever. :)

Hope it helped. peace g
