I saw an article a while ago that defined a switch misty 9 as approaching the jump switch, throwing a 180 and then doing a misty 7.

I was looking through the CFSA's guide to Big Air competitions that ranks tricks by DD (degree of difficulty) and noticed a switch rodeo 7, but no switch misty 7.

Can you do a switch misty or do you have to turn 180 and start in the air? I would think that it would be easier to start off the jump as your momentum naturally has you rotating 'forward' when you go off switch, much like how it is easier to back flip than front flip.

don't you always have to 180 if you are going to do any off-axis switch? cause like it would look pretty shitty is you tried carving into a jump switch and you weren't real great at it

to answer your question man, I am not super sure. watching steele spence, he seems to do a 180 into his switch misties. his switch misty 10... mmm

now the old man sits until the days when time stood still, the hours always seem to fade, but the memeories never will. All the love that you gave me, the dreams in the night. Now I just want to thank you, while the day's still light.
