bicycling, is there any cults oor people with intrest? im just starting out and am slowly putting together a bike. also looking for some advice on how to progress

My dad does Trials Motorcycling and my friend does trials Bicycling. He has an older Monty bike. It's super light, but has no front breaks due to hydraulic issues.

just where to really start. ive been advised to perfect endos and balancing on back tire. j hopping on and off of ledges. im still pretty flawed in my balance. oh and is it better to take the seat out compleately?

learning endos is good, it will help you with more advanced stuff. try doing an endo and then going back to your rear tire and seeing how many times you can hop on your rear tire. once you get good at that you can try pedal kicking. the best advise i can give you is to just keep praciting. that sounds cliche, but that's the only reason i can do what i can today, and i don't consider myself a great rider yet.

as far as the seat thing, i ride with mine all the way down cuz i like to use it just riding to different spots. try and find a small seat though. it is mainly personal preference though.

dude get in the ns bikers cult, its more talk about mountian biking and urban and stuff like that but im sure we could accomidate you

trals is the shit. i ace MC hardtail freeride rig, and i learned all the basics on that, but 7 inch zokes arnt the best setups! i will prolly sell it to buy something more trials oriented. but anyway, yes, seriously, trials is complicated. its all about balance. its one of the best examples of where practice is the only way. seriously just sit in your driveway, and hop around on your bike. you should be able to stand in one place just about indefinatly, and you should get comfortabe with your bike, and such. depending on the frame, keeping or levings personal prefference. if its a dedicated trials rig for you, i personally would loose it. i find i have MUCH more control, plus it saves weight. however, grind that seat tube down, or tape it over with a sock, cause you DONT wanna land on it! Mods are WAY easier to learn on, but most people will agree that stocks are the way to go. either way, its a suuuuupper fun sport, and will help you tremndosly in all other aspects of biking, and even skiing. OH yea, it builds great core muscles.

I do, yes . Trial biking is really fun, but the problem is im like always ridin alone... but its alright, since I dont even have a seat post...

wow, like half of that doesnt make sense. sorry, new keyboard, its a POS and misses keys all the time. but yes, ts of time practicing is key. getting the sequence of motions required for pedal kicks down to a muscle memory stage prolly took at least two weeks of practice. manuals as well.
