Hey guys, some snowboarders at Trent here got us a rail jam in the Gzowski quad on March 3rd. Time is TBA, but it looks like 1pm for now.

Prizes from Ipath, Zoo York, Grendade, Lakerdige and Automaton.

Its ski and snowboard jam, mostly just for fun. Trent students only though.

So if your a Trent skier...you better show up so us skiers dont look stupid :P

If anything new comes up I'll let you guys know.
 
hahaha a rail jam at Trent? How the hell did they pull that off?

That sounds sick though, i'll definitely try and be there.
 
See the lil jumps built in the Gzowski quad? They had no problems with those. And i guess a few hay bails for crashes and we're ok to go!

toxic900 (another trent student) apperently got the go ahead to do one a few years back also.
 
unfortunately thats the deal so far.

Its nothing big, couple boxes and a kink rail. Mostly just having this to have a good time.

BTW...trent has some rediculous urban rails and ledges...you know...if anyone wants to film em...
 
thats sick,, im tryin to get Brock to get a jam goin, just curious where did u get ur rails/boxes from? and did u have to go through anything with the school?
 
Im not organizing it, some snowboarders I know are.

But they have to go through the college office (what our rez buildings are called, its confusing) to get permisson to do it at that college. Then they had to go through the health and safety board (just make sure you got some hay to put down and shit).

Sounded like it was easy and went really smooth. Hopefully the jam does aswell
 
ya man no one out of the school is going to go cause no one wants to watch people ski when they could ski them selves

kinda stupid for people outa the school
 
Incase you cant read, its not my event, so I'm not calling the shots.

All im doing is posting up the info so people at Trent know and can go. If your intown with nothing else to do and wanna stop by, come chill, maybe you can talk them to letting you in.
 
that sucks, i was thinkin about gettin one organzied for Brock, and people were like, thta would be sweet blah blah blah, lets do it next month, but from some reason i had a funny feeling it would take a lot of planning to get it approved by the school... and it would take months, but probally once you get one going, you should have no trouble in the future getting it set up, like Gerogian does.
