Trends in skiing....

Skiing has experienced a lot of progression in the last decade or so. Not only on jumps but on rails and out in the cities and towns where crews have been sliding hand rails for years. Now many people are just skipping the hand rails and sliding down stairs. It was in Ian comptons new webisode and I have seen it else where. It is my theory that these trends are actually inspired by ski companies to make kids trash their skis quicker so that they will need to buy more skis. Pretty much all of jibbing progression has probably been thought up by the ski companies(and illuminati) in an effort to sell more skis.

omg its true! line lures all the dumb kids into getting afterbangs (only dumb kids like the graphics) by saying that they are indestructable so they can hit what ever urban they want. they then trash their skis and buy a new pair. if pros use them they have to be good right?

so true, they say the afterbang is built like a skate board, but just think how many skateboards do skaters go thru??

True that, I got this year afterbangs, thinking that they are super cool... turns out the look like they have been beat to death after 5 times of skiing. The sidewalls are torn and beat because they are made of wood. Sure they are super flexy and fun but not "bomb proof"
