What do you think the trendiest skis are this year i have to say the fuckin PE's everytime i go to my hill i see about 50 pairs of those

I was talking to a local shop owner and he said that the TM is the most sold ski right now.

i bought the Pe when it first came out cause i figured no one would have them, but no everyone does

it pisses me off

What the hell were they doing with a car on the moon?... havent they gone far enough?

The Public Enemies are probably the most talked about ski on here, not a single person has them at my mountain though.

4FRNT skis are definatly the ski people buy because it's 'cool' to own. People buy skis without knowing anything about them. You see the MSP on the eastcoast, that's retarded.

ive seen lots of 1260's also this year. them and of course the 1080's but not too many pe's

 
ok. so a lot of people buy the same skis. so what? doesnt make it a trend, and it doesnt make them trend whores. maybe a lot of people buy pe's because they are affordable...maybe a lot of people buy armada's for the performance. i hate how people automatically think it's a trend (im not saying you guys are saying that), and everyone involved with this trend are posers.

all i have to say is go out and ski, and forget about who bought the fujatives or the 4fronts. it really doesnt matter.

im not saying the pe's are a bad ski im just saying i've seen tons of those on the hill. Like last yr ive seen tons of 1080's

i personally like the pe's and how affordable they are

i really dont see too many armadas from were i'm at (washington)

but im sure there are a lot

MSP's arent just for the west, I have a pair, was one of the first to order them, back in like june. I ordered them before anyone even knew what they were...I live in the east, but I wou;dnt exactly call MSP's a pow ski. Yes, they are wide, but they are designed for park and rails too, and were meant to be able to cross over between BC and park

lotsa Pe's/1080s (its all good caue I have 1080s too), i havn't seen any armadas out at stevens. The only ones i've actually seen ridden was harvey and i think cko out at SMS this summer

I can safely say that I've only seen one pair of Atomic Tweaks out there...MINE! Individuality is always nice, but performance first

where i ski the most common are probably 1260s, but because this area sucks, im not skiing yet this year, so I don't know yet

well actually i went into the local shop....and one guy asks if i need help..i tell him ive already bought skis...he says i hope ya got the TM's,theyre our biggest seller this yr.......then the next time i go in another guy tells me that PE's are the biggest seller....then my next trip there the first guy tells me that the scratches are their biggest seller

most I've seen - Orange 1080s from last year

it's also about mountain appearances I think. If people see most of the K2 team jibbing on Seth Pistols, then might sway them to go for the 'all mountain destroyer'....however, the best of both worlds is clearly the Eric Pollard Pro...narrow enough for park, wide enough for pow. It also comes down to how strong of a skier you are. If you're relying on the ski to do the work, get the fattest ski there is, but I used to ski with old blue 1080s on 3 foot powder day at Wolf Creek just fine.
