Tremblant to Expand

For all those who care:

Within the next 10 years, Tremblant will grow. They now have 20 Billion Dollars to blow on their Hill. That means two new villages, The 'Soleil' and the 'Nord', One new mountain, taller than Tremblant. And this means over 200 runs for us to ski on. It also means you should expect your lift ticket price to double.

That is fairly sick, like a Killington in eastern Canada.

Where is there a peak around Tremblant that is taller than it? Tremblant is the tallest peak in the Laurentians.

Its called Johansen Peak, and Im almost positive its bigger than tremblant, if not a little smaller. but its big enough to hold 100 runs... oh ya they are putting in 3 or 4 more lifts also.

NewSkool450 if you understand the concept of nightlife, you know know why I compared Killington to Tremblant.

tremblant is tight at night (no rhyme intended) i was there for a weak and had a good time

weezerskier: i dont smoke but the kids who do are really good

HIGH NORTH SESSION 5... was tight as can be

FACTION SKIS...

NOTHING BUT FAT TWINS

all that money being put in sucks, all it means is tourists. In tremblant,we hate gay tourists. the park will not benfit from that money, and there will just be more tourists to pack the lift lines. Tremblant only cares about making money, and not about putting it back into the hill. I hate watching them turn such an awsome place into another american disney land.

I call your bluff. They aren't allowed to build on that mountain because of all the Tremblant park regulations and shit which is why they can't change their shit ass chair.

I don't doubt them expanding because they are stupid piece of shit bastards like that, soon they'll fuckin have condo's running up the side of zig-zag for christ's sake. Wow, more runs, which will suck because they will need to attract that many more tourists to over-populate their runs and lift lines. Oh yeah, and bring their fucking kids through the park and jump off the side of everything and stand at the end of rails and ski down landings as if it's some fucking alaskan face. Fuck you Intrawest.

Smoking pot leads to uhh... I forget.

50 nuts in your mothafuckin' mouth

What's with all the hate?

cams: they got permission from the provincial parc to expand onto Johansen, at least thats what the newspaper and radio said.

yah for those who know..you know tremblant is so sick..definitely cold in the winter but perfect in the spring...and about the nightlife i heard l'petit caribou (sp?) was voted one of the best bars/clubs in the entire ski industry, anyone been there? tremblant also has a beavertail stand, making it even that much more amazin

i remember going there about 10 years ago, when they were starting construction on the base village. it was much better than. fewer people and open runs. the park wasn't much then but i think it would still be close to what it is today without the huge city at the bottom. an expansion will be interesting to see. but wouldn't be my choice for the money. why not lower prices a bit and save some of the money for a longer period of time for future improvemetns

i spent my entire march break in tremblant this past year, went clubbing every night, and the nightlife is huge.

as well, it's where i go to ski good park as well, and if people are complaining that tourists go through the parks too much with only 100 runs, if there are 200 runs, theoretically that would space everything out a lot more, and be great for us newschoolers.

and people like me who dont pay anything to intrawest and weasel my way onto the hill wont be affected by skyrocketing lift ticket prices anyways. ha.

ps. is johansen the reallt steep mountain beside the versant soleil, or is it on the other side of the edge? or am i completely lost...
