NEW Snowpark

Even more fun! A second park on South side under the Flying Mile Express lift:

- Expert terrain

- 7 jumps

- 11 Rails/Jibs

2 New Trails

2 new expert runs on the North side increasing the total skiable terrain from 610 acres to 627.5 acres.

- The “Supérieur”run measuring 936 metres that will be situated between the 'CBC' and the 'Géant'.

- “La Griffe” run measuring 750 metres that will be situated between 'The Windigo' and 'The Dynamite'.

so they are having a park on the south and north side, should be interesting, an 'expert' park under flying mile? so they mean 11 expert jumps and 7 expert jibs, are these going to be all new and does anyone else have any other info about what they have planned, seems like they are gonna kick ass this year,...

everyones partial to their home mountain... but all i wanted to know is what they have planned for this park and what the news is up at tremblant on anything else

From my conversations with Tremblant this fall they are going to have a mini park at the bottom of the south side. Nothing big, no pipe or anything, just some rails and small features. It'll be nice to have something down at the bottom for those non-so-nice weather days.

That mini park is for Snowskates, they've had it for a while. And tremblant does not live up to all the hype it gets. It's a bunch of rich stuck up slow skiers, and there are so many people!!!!! Runs are icy after 1 hour and the price you pay 50+$$$??? what a load of crap. The only good deal is the season pass...oh and the food??? hahahaha extra 10% tax my ass.

huge, crazy ass rails like the new dutty rollercoaster they put in lastyear.

and the chair life in the park might be slow but its the shit cause it sits so low you can jump higher then the people on the chair.

as for nextyear i have no idea whats coming, but i know they stepped it up huge lastyear, so this year should be twice as nuts

No complaints from my part against tremblant. free skiing for the whole season is a pretty nice hookup, so you wont hear me ragging on them. Not too mention the only decent nightlife in the north. Anyway, the park should be decent, but you go to tremblant for some vert and to get wasted, not to ski their park. I say fuck it, hit sauveur for 4 hours and ski some real park features without all of the hype, the loser tourists, the bad descente snowsuits, and the chance to park your truck somewhere within 2 minutes of the lifts, not a 20 minute bus ride. besides, we all know mont alta in val david rules anyway.

I`m finally succeeding, and I owe it all to yes-I-cannibus.

I wa sup there last Christmas, and they finished cutting the pipe the day AFTER I left, so I was pretty pissed about that... but no more Lowell Thomas on cold days is a good thing.

its all about parking on the north side, 1 second away from the lifts. thats the key.

i dont think i have ever skied the south side at all, besides that glades run that kinda runs under the top part of the gondola.

other then that it is all north side and the new edge

yeah sure the lifts are two seconds away on the north side cept its like a 30 mins drive to get over there... plus the fastest way is def to park and take that little chair up I thikn its P3 but you cant lose going that way...

yeah but you only go up halfway on that lift, then have to xcountry ski over to the next lift.

as far as plain skiing goes, le versant soleil is the place to be. the rollers over there are rediculous.

Tremblants park isn't the greatest, but the nightlife is awesome, and having a condo on the mtn makes it worth it...

dude, the north side is such a secret. not only do you get sweet parking, but it`s also the most beautiful drive up through lac superieur to get there. too bad intrawest is going to develop it pretty soon. that`s right, you heard it here, tremblant will soon have another village...on the sacred north side. Fourchette du Diable, RIP
