Tree sap on cars

i have a massive pine tree that has probably been there since the dawn of time and it always jizzes tree sap onto my car. normally i would just cut the fucker down but its on my neighbours property and they refuse take the bastard down because its been there since they moved in and they watched it grow and gay shit like that (they're like 95 years old).

anyone have any good tricks to getting tree sap off of cars without wrecking the paint job?
 
try goo gone on a small part of it, see what happens.

if it doesn't work then try hot water or something obvious

 
toothpaste? i know it can get of that dirt right behind the wheel well that never seems to come off. i forget what you do though after u put it on.
 
go to your local auto parts store. they have tones of shit for removing tar, bugs, and other shit i have some but i forget what its called works great.
 
I worked cleaning boats and we had this stuff called Tar, Treesap and bug remover. It comes in a can.
 
tell your neighbours youll kill them if they dont cut it down. And make sure they get a glimps of your gun.
 
tree sap is acidic so basicaly is just eating through your clear coat and if you over scrub it to get it off u fuck up your paint i recomend you take your car to an auto detailing place and the handdle taht shit and you should get it hand waxed after because if your car is waxed and you get sap on it after its easyer to get off.

I just went through this problem and i had it handled profeionaly done
 
Oh my god. Think more elementary and primitive than WD-40.

Use gasoline. It takes off everything and anything from gum to sticker guupe to paint/grease/sap/tar/etc.

And it doesn't remove paint. Boni.
 
sick tits man, i tried the gasoline and it worked well.

from now on im going to try to remember to cover my car in a tarp... but who knows how long that will last for.

apparently they have a wax that you put on that makes it so sap doesnt stick as badly, ill probably give that a shot

man after u get it off u need to get some revenge on those old people i suggest making noise (old people hate noise)or skeet into a bucket and pour it all over their car.....problem solved
