just wondering - when do people usually get back from tree planting over the summer?

No idea, but I should know because I've wanted to be a tree planter since I was 10.

nobody 'wants' to be a tree planter. they just do it cuz they are broke as fuck. hmm. not to call you weird or anything.... but your weird.

it all depends on what sessions you work.

it can range from august till october.

haha, yeah, I plant trees sometimes, but only like 2 or 3 at a time, hehe

nah, i don't wanna tree plant - that shit is way too much effort for a lazy guy like me. i'm just wonderin' when the hell Dan is gonna get back 'cause I'm sick and tired of the HJS site being down... and I wouldn't mind having him come up and party for a weekend/week, rest of the summer, whatever...

My girlfriend just got home from 6 weeks of tree planting. She left early, (another job) but they'll be planting in Algonquin for another 2months atleast...

Its really hard work, live in a tent, ALWAYS outside, always carrying 50-100lbs of trees.

You make 8-9cents a tree, and they are inspected.

She planted 2500 trees one day, so money can be good if your ambishious.(sp)

haha.. you guys have to plant trees in states.. in scandinavia we have so much trees that i have to cut them down....(70% of finland is covered in forests)

im plantin trees for two months next summer.

sure it's a shitty job but how else can you legally make 10 grand in two months. im gonna take 2 of the ten and go to whistler for however long the money lasts
