here is a picture of the scene too

So sad. I sincerely hope that the driver is found and charged to the fullest extend possible. Travis was such a crazy kid. RIP. Anybody have the photo of him doing the toestand on the cop car?

I wish i would have learned about Travis unberlievable talent as well as personality under different circumstances he seemed like such a fun, energetic and happy person. I hope the person responsible is caught and recieves the maximum punishment.
Rest In Peace Travis. Your an inspiration.

couldnt have said it better, and good find on the article. his sponsor me video was so inspirational too, RIP!

Travy, You are missed terribly everyday by all of us. Im sure we will all catch up on the flip side. The dumps of snow we have been getting really help me believe that you are still around. Miss you bro.

What was the sentence for Adam Lund? My suggestion was death by Bull Moose. Only thing fitting. Put cow in heat in one pen. Put bull in another and string up Adam in the door between the two pens.

obviously it was a huge tragedy but travis was jumping in and out of traffic wasted the guy that hit him is a local with kids not a bad guy and i hope this get resolved

Do you know this for a fact?

Also, 90% of car accidents are the fault of the pedestrian. Lights and/or white lines on the road don't stop 4,000 lbs of metal the last time I checked.

That really sucks, but that's not the way it was described before. I read that he was in a cross walk. Drunk or sober, nobody deserves to get run over in a cross walk. Anyway, Adam may have been a good guy, but hitting someone and driving away makes him a criminal. Fact.

the intersection he was hit at is outside a pub and its a light controlled intersection because that road is the highway he for sure shouldnt have left the scene under any circumstances but as someone who crosses there you gotta be real careful because people haul ass on that highway and its usually covered in snow and ice so can be very dangerous

If any pedestrian doesn't use their own common sense, it doesn't matter who's fault it is. You're done. I acknowledge that Steeger was the victim here....but he may only have been the victim of a run....not the hit. I don't know that for a fact, I'm just basing it on that comment made earlier about him dodging through traffic. I can see a drunk 19 yr-old kid doing that. Not saying it happened, but it's plausible.

From the the driver's perspective, if you're sober, I can't imagine why the hell you'd leave the scene....but I don't know what the heck would go through my head if I'd just taken a life....whether it was my fault or not. So I can't say that I can unequivocally put myself in that dude's shoes.

Dude, if anyone knows of any facts in this case (even 2nd hand), I think you should take them to the cops. No skin off your chin, and it could really make an impact on an entire family. Yes, one family's already suffered, but maybe another doesn't need too.

Just sayin....
