that argument is so invalid it's not even funny. 70 trees is nothing. the run they built the course on ends in a clear cut, which is right beside two other clear cuts. The amount of trees being cut down in the west kootenays for logging makes the 70 they cut insignificant. Besides, how many trees do we cut down when gladding a run anyways?
Mountain biking has been building courses out of wood for how long without people making a big stink out of it...
