a ski bag?

-Your lost on MLK??? RUNNNNN RUUUUNNN the MEDIA is there RUUUUUNNNN.

- ah Ballet, men wearing pants so tight you can tell what religion they are.

A few airlines changed their rules and get pissed if you pad your ski bag with clothes, I know Air Canada did. Get something hard or they'll make you sign a release saying 'I won't sue you if you destroy my skis'.

Mine came out unharmed in an normal ski bag.

When i was waitin for my plane i saw a gy drop a ski bag right off of the cart and he was moving pretty quickly, so be careful.

theres no business like snow business.

armada was selling that kickass bag, but they are probably gone by now, they stopped making them, it was like a double decker with room for your clothes and like skateboards and 2 or 4 pairs of skis i think, pretty bitchin

Dude, you had better mail your skis, there is no way that they'll even let you bring them on as luggage. You are screwed.

^ what?

between my sister and i we always travel with 3-5 pairs of skis, either in 2 ski bags or a HUGE snowboard bag and put all of our ski clothes in with it to. we have never had any problems with weight or having over shit in the bag. they don't have a weight limit on ski/ snowboard bags, its great

i just stick my skis in my bag but i wrap them in towels then put clothes in too, the towels make sure your edges dont tear your clothes and your clothes mean your skis are padded.

also, check in as early as possible & sweet talk the baggage check chick

if I ever see Shane McConkey, I'm going to point at his skis and go 'Dude, they look like waterskis!' just to keep the trend going.

I just stuck them in a ski bag in oversize baggage, no harm done and no need to use a hard case!

to be honest im using a burton snowboard bag for my 176 line skogens. fits my skis, poles, boots, gear, everything. bit of a tight fit, but a nice ass bag and really well designed.

Get this, when I went out west I saw this pair of straight skis in a platic bag. WTF!!! the worst part it was not some old guy but a kid. He had rear entry boots and all. I'm glad that I didn't see him in the park though.

There actually is a general weight limit.... But you pretty much only have to worry about that if you're packing a 4 pair bag.

Just pad a regular bag with clothes. Expect the bag to take a beating, so pack it good.

I just used a plastic bag, but I didnt have straight skis and rear entry boots though.

Trying is the first step towards failure

I bring a boot bag and a normal, soft ski bag, they count as one. Wrap my skis in a couple hoodies or towels. All the other ski stuff goes in the boot bag along with any clothes that don't fit in my clothes bag. Air Canada doesn't like extra stuff in the bags but if they ask you can just say its all ski gear.

i have the Dakine 'transport' bag, and it's padded and nice with a good pole pocket, protects them very well... i usually just pack whatever hoodies i'm bringin on the trip in with my skis so it pads them even more, saves other space.

don't take me for a joke, i'm no comedian. too many mental problems got me snortin' coke and smokin' weed again.

I bubbled wrapped my skis and put them in a ski bag the only time i got to take them for travelling, it worked really well.
